A 4-minute, 11mb video of the 0m gauge (1:45 meter gauge) model railroad layout in the now-defunct SBB Historic Museum in Interlaken, Switzerland. Format is Quicktime, size 720x480x15fps. SBB Historic (foundation) bought this privately-run museum and operated it from 2004-2008, at which time they sold the building and contents. It is now a soft drink distribution warehouse. It had been the best 0m gauge display I ever saw. Of course the museum had many other displays also.

INPORTANT NOTE: WHEN YOU CLICK ON THE QUICKTIME MOVIE LINK ABOVE, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN UNTIL THE ENTIRE 11mb VIDEO HAS BEEN DOWNLOADED. BE PATIENT. ALSO, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FREE APPLE QUICKTIME VIDEO APPLICATION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VIEW THE MOVIE.

Here you can download a high-quality (5mb) pdf version of the 4-page instructions that accompanied FAMA 0m model train sets sold in the US. It is in A4 format, so if you print it on a US Letter printer (and have no legal paper), be sure to select "fit to printable area". This document describes operation, maintenance and modification of the HGm 4/4 Furka Oberalp (FO) locomotive included in the set, the track geometry and track program, and includes a chart of the climbing ability of the locomotive when pulling different numbers of cars up steep grades. This locomotive was equipped with rack drive and a system of magnets for adhesion, so it has enormous capability.
